Nanny Verity has worked at Thyme Castle since she was
a young girl training to be a housemaid. She cares for
Justin, Robyn and baby Albion as though they are her own
family - and in return, they totally adore her.

Professor Gilbert is Justin’s timid private tutor. Although
intellectually suited for the job, he suffers from a debilitating
stammer. Everything from his precision-trimmed beard to his
symmetrically aligned shoelaces screams nerdy perfectionist!

Nadezhda Przolwamiczenkof is the castle cook. For
obvious reasons she allows everyone to call her Mrs Kof.
She is huge, bald, incredibly muscular ... and never
wears anything on her feet!

Angus Gilliechattan is the castle gardener. He is more
Scottish than any Scot Justin has ever met - and even wears
his kilt whilst gardening - which, as Sir Willoughby points out,
is simply asking for haemorrhoids!

Morag McGinty Gilliechattan is the castle housekeeper. She
is a wee scrawny woman with eyes sharper than gimlets, and
a passion for snooping. The Gilliechattan Clan motto is
“Touch Not the Cat Without a Glove!”

Mr Knightly is the new castle butler. He joins the staff whilst
Professor Gilbert is on vacation, and claims to have worked
for royalty. But his shoes squeak and there’s a permanent
dew-drop dangling from the end of his hawk-like nose!
