The ancient and noble Thyme Clan have lived on the banks of
Loch Ness since 1508. Their ancestral home, Thyme Castle, is
on the north side of the loch, roughly half way between Fort
Augustus and Inverness. It stands on the southernmost tip of a
promontory overlooking Thyme Bay, just a few miles beyond

“ Justin readily promised to remain within the
boundaries of the Thyme estate, and fervently
hoped that time travelling wouldn’t break that
promise. The castle had stood there seven
centuries; so strictly speaking, he needn’t ever
leave their property – even on quite a lengthy
journey into the past. ”
