The ancient and noble Thyme Clan have lived on the banks of Loch Ness since
1307. Their ancestral home, Thyme Castle, is on the north side of the loch, roughly
half way between Fort Augustus and Inverness. It stands on the southernmost tip
of a promontory overlooking Thyme Bay, just a few miles beyond Drumnadrochit.

X marks the spot! That name looks familiar! Is it an anagram of something? X marks the spot!

The Thyme Tartan is a combination of purple, green, blue and orange - and is
said to represent heather, pine trees, the loch and a highland sunset. The Clan
Badge features an hourglass to depict eternity, surrounded by sprigs of thyme,
an age-old symbol of courage. The Clan Motto “Thymum Sempiternum” means
“Thyme Eternal or “Thyme Without End.”
